He was peacefully called home on July 24, 2022.
John joined Mt Olive Baptist Church at a young age. He was a very active man of many trades who loved fishing, casino, and big on family
He was preceded in death by two sons: Johnny Thomas and Dillard Beaty; eight brothers: James Edward Flowers, Kenneth Kilow, Robert Earl Kilow, James William Flowers, Jr., Jesse l Russaw, Willie B Russaw, Jesse J. Russaw, John J. Russaw and two sisters: Mattie Wilson and Carrie Creech
He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife Norma Thomas, three daughters: Brendel Adams, Felisa(Lonnie) Ferguson, Coffy(Bernard) Beaty;
two sons: Andra(Malissia) Crittendon and Paul (Jo) Beaty
Thirteen sisters: Wanda Lightner, Ommer(Bill) Caple, Mary Thomas, Hope(Anthony) Barrow, Annie Bailey, Tammy(Ricky) Banks, Mary L Roberson, Mary Creech, Bessie Baker, Brenda(Walter) Sentmore;
