Brother Tyler Harris Obituary

Tyler Lee Harris was born June 19, 1941 in Princeton, Kentuckyto the late Porter Lee Harris and Anna Lucille Hickman. Tyler Lee was the oldest of eleven children. Preceding him in deathare Eula Johnson, Larry Harris and Billy Vannerson. He received his education at Dotson High School Princeton, Kentucky, Class of 1960. He was employed as a Supervisor at Eli Lilly for thirty years; from 1963 until his retirement in 1993.

Sweet Lee loved his hobbies of churching, reading his bible,fishing, grilling, dancing, and the Electric Slide. Sweet Lee never met a stranger. He would often share his life stories with everyone he met.

On September 1963 he united in holy matrimony to Shirley Dean Benberry. To this union three children were born:Carmeen, Deveree and Tyanna. His first wife Shirley preceded him in death in 2005.

On March 27, 2010 Tyler Lee married his (Honey Bun) as he often called her; Janet Gail McLeod.

He leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted wife of twelve years Janet Gail Harris. Children; Carmeen (Michael) Whiteside, Deveree (Mark Sr) Webster and Tyanna Harris all of Indianapolis, Indiana. Three blended children Willie Anthony, Reverend Gregory (Savalla) and Tiffany McLeod. Two grandchildren; McKenzee and Mark Jr Webster. Blended grandchildren; Niesha Tellis, LaShon Moore, Jeremiah Tanner, Gregory II, Gabriel, Joshua McLeod, Kobe McKay and ZyairNewson. Brothers Charles (Brenda), Keith and Ronnie Harris all of Louisville, Kentucky, Wade Vannerson of Indianapolis, Indiana. Sisters; Loretta Unseld of Louisville, Kentucky, Elsie (Lester) Williams of Indianapolis, Indiana. Two brothers-in-law;Gregory Wood, Donnie (Cindy) Wood all of Madisonville, KY. A host of nieces, nephews, relatives, cousins and friends.
