Mother Brenda Lorene Morrison “Lori”

Mother Brenda Lorene Morrison affectionately known as “Lori” was born on January  05, 1960, the second born to the late Coach Wade C Morrison and Florence Morrison. “Lori” passed away after a brief illness on Saturday May 10th at her residence surrounded by loved ones. She was 65 years young.

“Lori” was a graduate of THEE Dothan High School c/o 1978. She went on to receive various accolades and degrees including a Bachelors of Arts and a Masters degree in business. She was employed at various places around the city including Walmart over 10 years. She had a real no nonsense approach and meant exactly what she said.

She gave her life to Christ at an early age serving faithfully at St. Peter Baptist Church in Abbeville Al and as an adult at First Missionary Baptist Church in Dothan Al. She most recently recommitted her life at Miracle Evangelistic Church of God in Ashford Al under the late Apostle Frank L Mobley Sr and subsequently Overseer Ruby L James. Though not in fellowship in recent years, she had a very real love for God and a desire to learn more of him daily.

Brenda Morrison was preceded in death by her mother and father Wade C Morrison and Florence White Morrison, her older sister Linda “Vonnie” Morrison and a niece Meliikah Morrison, also her emotional support animal Midnight.

“Lori” leaves to cherish her memory 3 children April Morrison (Dothan AL) Cameron Morrison (Orlando Fl) and Emanuel Morrison (Dothan AL) and 3 loving grand children: Amajane’ Morrison, Braydon Morrison, and Wade Morrison. And one great grandson Master Messiah Morrison-Daniels. She was the big sister to 2 brothers Wade J (Vernita) Morrison and Paul (Tammy) Morrison and sister Rheutilia (Warren) Craddieth. She had numerous nieces and nephews as well as cousins family and friends.

Mother Brenda Lorene “Lori” Morrison will be forever missed.
