Constance Bonita Jones was born January 30, 1955 to the late Louie Frank Johnson and Josephine Johnson Reddick of Ozark, Al. She made her transition from this life on December 5, 2022 at St. Francis Emory Hospital in Columbus, Georgia following a short illness.
Lovingly known as Connie, she was baptized at an early age and was a faithful loving life long member of Greater Sardis Missionary Baptist Church where she joyfully served in the Mass Choir, as a Sunday School Teacher and as a Financial Secretary.
She attended DA Smith High school and graduated from Carrol High School in Ozark, Al in 1973. She continued her education at Barber Scotia College in Concord, North Carolina. She married Stanley Gray Faniel in 1973. God blessed that union with two children; Stephanie Deyo and Sabrina L. Faniel. She still furthered her education at Riley Business College with a diploma as a medical clerk and graduated RN School at George C. Wallace Community College. In November 1990, she married Willie K. Jones and God blessed that union with Nancy Mariah Jones.
She has worked at a host of jobs including being a seamstress and receptionist at Van-Heusen for 24 years and receptionist and senior tax advisor at H&R Block for 30 years. Wherever she worked she excelled.
Connie was a Godly, hardworking mother. She had strong faith in Jesus and taught her children by example to love God and serve people. She was a dedicated mother who raised three children to the glory of God. She was the epitome of a Proverbs 31:10-31 woman.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister: Gwendolyn Delores Ross, brothers: Mitchell Wynn Johnson and Michael Wayne Johnson.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory: Rev. David E. Reddick, P.E., Ret.(loving father), Daughters; Stephanie Deyo, Sabrina Faniel and Nancy Jones. Grandchildren: Nia Christina Deyo, Sienna Rae Deyo, Jacobi Eutsey and Rubyn Johnson.
A whole host of nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and devoted friends remain to cherish her precious memories.
