Reverend Willie Parks Obituary

Reverend Willie Arthur Parks was born March 28, 1943 in Bakerhill, Alabama to Arthur "Bubba" Lee Parks and Clara Bell Bruce Parks whom both preceeded him in death. Willie Arthur Parks was raised by his grandmother and grandfather Clyde "Big Daddy " Bruce and Mandy Turner Bruce  whom both preceeded him in death. Willie Arthur Parks went to school in Bakerhill up to the sixth grade and after that he helped his grandfather with farming. Willie Arthur Parks grew up knowing how to farm, electric work, building houses, and roofing. Willie Arthur Parks had one child to preceed him in death Willie Parks Junior. He also had three brothers to preceed him in death: Johnny "James" C. Parks; Foy Parks; and Jimmy Parks. He also had two sisters to preceed him in death: Betty "Sister" Parks Turner and Catherine Parks Young. 

Reverend  Willie Arthur Parks leaves to cherish his memories four sons: Willie James Parks of Tampa, FL; Ricky Parks of Tampa, FL; Mark Parks of Albany, GA; and Bryant Parks of Slocomb, AL. Five daughters: Alice Parks of Tampa, FL; Barbara Craig Clayton of Slocomb, AL; Evelyn(Roderick) Daniels of Lakeland,FL; Sandra Parks of Winter Park, FL; and Milissa Parks of Winter Park, FL. Two brothers: Sammy Parks of Ozark, AL and Geno Parks of Dothan, AL and four sisters: Ruby Malone of Dothan, AL; Barbara Lee of Slocomb, AL; Patricia Parks of Dothan, AL; and Yvonne Parks of Dothan, AL. He leaves a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews. One Uncle Clarence Bruce and one Aunt Mary Dean. A special nephew Dexter Parks.
