Theresa Ann Belcher Goodman, daughter of the late Mr. Roscoe F. Belcher, Sr, and Mrs. Annie M. Raines, was born on July 18, 1955, in Ozark, Alabama. where she is preceded in death by three older siblings Mrs. Annie M. Moore, Mr. Floyde Belcher, and Mr. Harvey L. Belcher.
At an early age, she united with First Missionary Baptist Church in Ozark under the pastorate of Dr. S. C. Jackson.
Theresa received her public school education in the Ozark City School System, graduating from Carroll High in 1973. Following graduation, she continued her education at Wallace Community College, where she graduated with the first night class in Licensed Practical Nursing.
On May 02, 1983, Theresa started working at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, Alabama.
Theresa departed this life on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at her brother and sister-in-law's home in Ozark, Alabama, where she lived since January 8, 2024, after becoming ill.
Theresa leaves to cherish her loving memory: her mother, Mrs. Annie M. Raines., Ozark, Alabama; a brother Mr. Roscoe F. (Monika) Belcher, Jr., Ozark, Alabama; one aunt Eloise Matthews, Dothan, Alabama; two special cousins Mr. Porter Belcher, Ozark, Alabama; the late Wallace Manuel Morris, Ozark, Alabama; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
